Be sure to also trace off the circles on the template, as these show the bulb placement for the finished project. Use the pencil to trace the template in reverse on the back side of a piece of patterned paper. Open up the box for your letter, and carefully remove the tracing template tucked into the back of the letter. Today I’m going to fill you in on how you can make a set of these beauties of your very own, plus give you a peek into the place where I do all of my creating! This year, my word is GIVE, so I knew immediately when I saw these fun Marquee Love products exactly the word I would create! This set sits in my newly refreshed and organized creative space to motivate and inspire me. I always select a word for the year to have in the back of my mind throughout the upcoming months to inspire me to accomplish my goals. I was so excited, then, when I saw some fabulous new products at Michaels stores that make creating a set of these fun letters a total breeze! That was one project that was on my to-do list for last year that somehow never got done, and I determined myself in 2015 to give them a try. Every time I’ve seen the beautiful DIY marquee letters that have popped up all over some of my favorite sites in the last year or two, I’ve always bookmarked away that idea to try myself one day.
